SubnetRadar
Real-time analytics, health monitoring, and risk assessment for every subnet in the Bittensor network. Built by the community, for the community.
What is SubnetRadar?
Bittensor has over 100 subnets, each running different AI workloads. SubnetRadar gives you a clear overview of all of them with real-time data, so you can make informed decisions about where to stake your TAO.
Unlike generic crypto trackers, SubnetRadar is purpose-built for Bittensor's unique architecture. We track alpha token prices, pool liquidity, emission distribution, validator/miner counts, and GitHub development activity to give you a complete picture of each subnet's health.
Features
Health Scores
Composite 0-100 score based on liquidity, network strength, emissions, and growth momentum. Uses percentile ranking across all subnets.
Liquidity Risk Monitor
Subnets with low TAO locked in their pool are flagged as risky. Higher slippage means bigger losses when staking or unstaking.
GitHub Activity Tracking
We monitor development activity on each subnet's GitHub repository. Subnets without a public repo are flagged as higher risk.
Interactive Charts
7-day price charts with hover tooltips, 24h and 7d price range bars, and real-time price updates for every subnet.
Portfolio Tracker
Track your staking positions across multiple subnets. See total value, P&L, and risk exposure in one place.
Staking Simulator
Simulate staking scenarios before committing your TAO. See projected returns based on current emission rates and pool sizes.
Subnet Comparison
Compare up to 4 subnets side by side across all metrics. Find the best opportunities and understand trade-offs.
Price Alerts
Set alerts for price changes, health score drops, or liquidity warnings. Never miss important movements in your staked subnets.
Data Sources
All data comes directly from the Bittensor network via the TaoStats API. Prices, volumes, pool sizes, and network metrics are updated every 60 seconds.
How Health Scores Work
Each subnet receives a health score from 0 to 100 based on four weighted pillars. Scores use percentile ranking - a subnet in the top 5% for a metric scores ~95 on that component. This means scores reflect how a subnet compares to all others, not arbitrary thresholds.
View detailed health scores and breakdowns on the dedicated Health page.
Liquidity & Market
30%TAO locked in the pool, market cap, and trading volume. Higher liquidity means less slippage and more confidence from stakers.
Network
30%Validator count, miner slot utilization, and miner-to-validator ratio. A well-populated subnet signals real demand for its services.
Emission & Incentive
20%TAO emission received, registration cost demand, market cap confidence, subnet age (older = more proven), and tempo efficiency.
Growth & Momentum
20%Buy/sell ratio (money flowing in or out), 7-day price trend, trend consistency, and trading volume. Stable or growing subnets score well.
Fear & Greed Index
Each subnet has a sentiment indicator from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed), visible on the homepage. It measures short-term market sentiment based on:
Community Project
SubnetRadar is an independent, community-built project. It was created because navigating the Bittensor ecosystem can be overwhelming - with over 100 subnets, each with different metrics, risks, and opportunities, it's hard to know where to look. This tool brings everything together in one place so you can see the full picture at a glance.
SubnetRadar is free and open to everyone. There are no paywalls, no premium tiers, and no data selling. The goal is simple: give the Bittensor community the transparency and tools it deserves.
If you find SubnetRadar useful and want to support its continued development, consider donating. Every contribution helps keep the servers running and fund new features.
